This is a skilled training program at A. Yumang Physical Therapy. This is specifically geared towards decreasing the risk of common sports injuries such as sprains, strains, and muscle tears and helping you to be constantly on the court, on the field, and not slowed down by injury. This program focuses heavily on identifying your injury risk and factors that affect and impact. It begins with a thorough assessment from a PT Consult.
This program focuses heavily on identifying your injury risk and factors that affect and impact. It begins with a thorough assessment from a PT Consult. We will address various areas to keep you healthy, strong, better balanced, stable, and mobile. We will identify muscle imbalance, alignment issues, and posture. Unlike the fitness program, this emphasizes foundational muscle group training, strengthening these areas and progressing to performance muscles when ready. We will continue to train performance muscles, core stability, support, and accessory muscles essential to achieving your goals. Whether you play in a recreational league or compete, this program is excellent. This is great for athletes who are injury-prone and trying to avoid injuries. This is great for young athletes who have not experienced any injury and want to continue doing things correctly or were previously injured but want the right path to full recovery and decreased chances for injury and re-injury. All sports can benefit from this Injury Risk Training Program. It is best to do it before your sports season starts. Consider it as an essential pre-season workout or pre-sport entry-level training. You may still benefit from this training if the season has started already. We will modify your plan to accommodate your in-season training and games. We will also equip you with the proper pre-game and pre-warm-up to your regular warm-up routine. This is also great for performing with your local gym or school training. At. A. Yumang Rehab, you will receive your trainer's expertise in the most up-to-date information, safety, and evidence-based approach. The program typically lasts six weeks.
Our program offers flexibility in training options. You can choose:
Train with your PT, PTA, or Fitness trainer, depending on your preference and budget. You can opt for a package of 12 sessions or book individual training sessions for more value. We have 20-minute, 30-minute, or 40-minute sessions available, so you can find a schedule that fits your lifestyle.
Exercise to Go. If you cannot come frequently, we can continue to update your progress, provide monthly feedback, or keep in touch with your gains. Our program is designed to cater to your individual needs. We will provide access to an exercise app where you can correspond with your trainer and give feedback and updates. This personalized approach ensures that your training always aligns with your goals and preferences.
Rest assured, our program is designed to address all the critical areas of your physical health. We will continue to improve your strength and impact endurance, core stability, athletic performance, and posture, ensuring that you maintain your progress after your Rehab.
Improve strength: We will perform using weight training, free weights, monitored strength testings, and updates.
Improve Endurance: Use appropriate equipment such as treadmills, bikes, and plyometrics.
Improve Core Stability: Perform strength training and core training, which includes gym balls, kettlebells, and BOSUball.
Improve athletic performance: Continue to address areas that stand out during your therapy and must be sustained to help you reach your peak performance. As appropriate, we will work on agility, coordination, balance, stability, strength, and posture.
Improve Posture: Help decrease the long-term effects of poor posture and reduce unforeseen musculoskeletal issues.
