Hip Rehab
This comprehensive program includes evaluation, treatment, training, testing, and coaching on what to do to sustain your gains. This starts with a thorough assessment that takes anywhere between 30 min to 45 min. We will assess the sources of pain, such as ligaments, joints, muscles, and other possible muscle skeletal structures. We will also address the factors that could affect the speed of your recovery. If it is a new issue, we will try to get you back to the level of function before this issue happens. If it is a chronic lingering problem, we will address what is causing the flare-up and possibly decrease the frequency of the flare-up as well.
After the evaluation, we will visit with you with a plan. The plan is not to just relieve your pain temporarily or just help you manage the pain. It is to help you get to the pre-injury level/pre-flare-up level and get you back to your goal. The goal typically is more than just pain relief but also being able to get you back to the things you love to do. If you are active, we want to get you back active, like running, playing ball, or back to full activities without pain. If you would like to function like walking to your mailbox and doing your chores without pain and discomfort, we can help you achieve that, too. We will also work closely with your physician with reports so you can have the most optimum care and plan. Common diagnoses related to this program are hip arthritis, trochanteric bursitis, piriformis syndrome, and hip strain. Some less common diagnosis which is still covered under this program includes groin pain and adductor pain. We also use different procedures as appropriate, such as Blood Flow Restriction (BFR), Dry needling, Graston Technique, Soft Tissue Oscillation, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation, to name a few.
For this comprehensive program, you may file for insurance or pay cash. Your insurance may require a physician's prescription.
For Post-Surgery: We will work in close collaboration with your surgeon by sending detailed reports on evaluation, interim visits, and discharge. This will ensure your optimum care and provide a comprehensive approach to your recovery.
