Soft Tissue Oscillation
Our highly trained clinician expertly utilizes this modality to help decrease spasms, increase blood flow, improve healing time, reduce swelling and inflammation, decrease pain, and increase healing. This is particularly beneficial for acute pain and inflammation from sprains and strains. The process, which incorporates electricity, vibration, and oscillation, has shown remarkable success in treating ankle sprains, knee sprains, muscle contusions, and tennis elbow. It is also highly effective for neck pain, shoulder tendinitis, and carpal tunnel syndrome. A PT Consult is required if you are a new patient or client. If filing insurance, then a PT Evaluation is necessary. If you have had this procedure done here at A. Yumang Rehab, with our dedicated patient care, a PT consult is unnecessary, especially if you are coming for maintenance therapy.
Booking an appointment with us is simple and convenient. You can call our Springdale offices at (479) 751-3900 or Fayetteville at (479) 444-6277 or request an appointment by emailing us at ayumangrehab@yumangrehab.com. We're here to make the process as easy as possible for you.
If you file insurance, they will pay for this as part of the PT Encounter. For us to file this, you have to have an established PT Care plan and be in active therapy sessions.
If you do not have an active encounter, it will be out of pocket for the maintenance program or therapy. The procedure takes about 20 minutes and includes setup. After the PT Consult, you can just come for this procedure for 20 min
